Business, Culture & Leadership Insights

When you have too much to lose, you take risks
When you are hungry enough, you find ways to do what you need to do. You take risks because you cannot fail. There is too much at risk for you not to succeed.
What's the cost of doing what you are doing today?
Staying safe and doing nothing costs you time and money and perhaps also your peace of mind. Often that cost is greater than progress or change.
Ethical Businesses are on the rise, what are you waiting for?
Sustainable success in today’s conscious world only occurs when ethics are built within each and every business unit and when that business embraces social corporate responsibility, environmental sustainability, fair labour practices, transparent governance and an ethical supply chain.
The Global Need for Financial Literacy: Enabling People and Empowering Communities
It is crucial for governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and businesses to collaborate and invest in initiatives that promote financial literacy, ensuring that communities worldwide can reap the benefits of a financially educated population. Together, we can build a more prosperous and equitable future for all.
Knowing your place of genius and your worth
Being Intentionally Conscious allows me to play to my strengths. I might be good at several things, but again, finding that pinhead on that needle allows me to find others who align in values to know my value, just as much as it allows me to know their value. This is how we play bigger and think limitlessly.
Understanding who you want to become
It’s essential to dig deep though. Clarity is not the first thing that comes to mind, and it certainly isn’t going to be the easiest path as it will require you to know and understand your inner self. It will require you to stay focused until you reach that “pin head on that needle”.
Failure is not the opposite of Success.
I know that the word “failure” is a trigger for many people as it is associated with something going wrong. History has shown us that it has been ingrained in us as children at home, at school, and in society. So, it is no surprise at all that most of us hold back from attempting anything new, yet, we want change and innovation.
First, we must decide what energy we want to be.
Our energy rests with our minds, our hearts, and our actions and they are not congruent; we cannot impact or influence where it is needed most.
Fashion vs Business
If you wait for the retirement age to figure out how you are going to live life, well, that is too late. You will simply need to make do with what you have. If you make the choice to know what you want when you retire, you have the ability to choose what that life can look like. You need to choose yourself over a simple image.
Living life in “Flow”
When you know what you want to achieve for others in life, it allows you to create a clear path forward. This, in turn, allows you to live life in flow.
Equipping your children for the future
As someone who has lived a life with a career surrounded by money, I took a lot for granted and thought that everyone thought like me.
I have decided to share some things that I can see better equipped my children for when they needed to make choices or mitigate risks and, most of all when they reached that stage of managing money.
Are you driving your business or is it driving you?
Freedom comes from making choices that allow you to have more time with family, to take a holiday when you want and as often as you wish or perhaps to bring in staff so that you can begin to work on the business, not in it.
Freedom at least needs to pay you what you were earning so that you are valued and paid your worth. This is, after all, why you started a business, right?
With work comes reflection and the moment to pause.
In Africa, Tanzania and its surrounding countries are a focus for me as it is where I know the impact I can have on children, women, and businesses and that this will have exponential growth for the globe. Those that choose to collaborate with me are those who leave themselves behind and think about the impact that they can contribute on others.
Financial Literacy is what brings you Economic Security
Practical financial knowledge for you as an individual enables you to gain financial literacy and that is what, in turn, brings about economic security.
When you have the information you need, you can take personal responsibility, and I’ve got to tell you, it is liberating.
When I let go of who I am, I become who I might be
It is not money that brings about the person you can become, it is something that every single of us has, our mind. So, when you are ready to be the person you choose to be, begin by pausing, reflecting, and truly understanding what it is you are in pursuit of and then begin to use language, words, and actions that model the person that awaits you.
Don't Compare your Inner Self to Someone's external image
Removing the filters, the pretence, and the perfect photo (as captured on social posts) is how you become aware of your weakness. Removing yourself from the trapped cycles you are in will attract more of what you really want.
The Ultimate Gift to Yourself
If you want to wake up with a smile on your face, like I do every single day, you need to do something different. Change happens when you are prepared to invest in doing things you haven’t done before with the intention of getting something different from it. Taking ACTION.
The Difficult Conversation
Here is the truth, difficult conversations build trust because people know where you stand. Through transparency and an open and honest conversation, people know that what you say in front of them is the same as what you say behind closed doors.
Thinking Limitlessly
Be inquisitive in life, just because something hasn’t been previously done does not mean it is not possible. Possibilities always sit at the edge of what is possible, but someone needs to push beyond the boundaries to discover what else exists. Why not let that be you?
The Power of Intentionally Conscious Living
We all have the ability to know what we want from life and what we don’t want. We have the ability to gain clarity on what we are in pursuit of but first, we must dare to ask questions and seek out help.
