The Project
Leadership and Entrepreneurship Programs to Raise the Baseline in underprivileged communities.
Through Leadership and Entrepreneurship programs, the Raise the Baseline Project is committed to lifting the standard of where people begin their journey in life, no matter where they are born.
“No matter where you are based, no matter where you are born you deserve to live the life you dream of.”
Cathy Dimarchos, Founder of Raise the Baseline
This journey began with two different goals which then combined into a joint vision. In 2014, Cathy Dimarchos's daughter, at the age of 17, had a vision of taking time off after she finished school to do some charity work and her research led her to ultimately select Tanzania where her mother would join her.
This experience was such an enriching one, it left an imprint that has followed them continuously ever since.
After several months, feeling overwhelmed with grief and a sense of disbelief towards the life that we live. they were able to figure out how their day-to-day life could change to contribute to a greater global impact.
The Raise the Baseline Project is committed to lifting the standard of where people begin their journey in life, no matter where they are born. We look to bring together like-minded people that support one another so that we can bring about the changes that we want to see across the globe.
