Her vision for your success and your people’s development is extraordinary in the way that she engages.“
— Ann Tomlinson, Founder Alium Works
Most businesses come to life because someone has a great idea, a service or a product that they see a need for in the community. Unfortunately, most entrepreneurs do not have the business acumen or financial literacy to base their business on more than a concept and some marketing tactics. This alone is why so many businesses fail after two years and an even greater number after 5 years.
This places a burden on all governments, further impeding economic growth and adding to the increasing levels of poverty, homelessness, and mental health issues. This will continue unless we put in place preventative measures across all industries, but more so with small businesses.
The Fundamentals of Business Program
This program aims to include preventative measures with a foundational framework for people who are starting a new business or who have set one up locally or internationally. With more than 2 decades of experience in setting and scaling businesses across the globe, our founder Cathy Dimarchos is passionate about helping businesses become sustainable and scalable. She has scaled companies from $200,000 to turning over $12M. She has turned up the volume in companies that now turn over $1B annually so nothing is too small or too big!
The “Fundamentals of Business Program” supports the economic stability of business owners through its ability to:
develop and enhance Financial Literacy
incorporate a foundational framework that increases Business Acumen,
develop an understanding of human patterns and beliefs
look at collaborative opportunities whilst creating governance that plans for growth and mitigates risks.
It is about building antifragile practices that equip businesses to become agile and adaptable as needs arise with a responsive mindset.
Providing this program increases economic security within communities, as well as reducing the long-term detrimental impacts on both the fiscal impact of local government whilst increasing community connections through collaborations.
The Program is available in Groups sessions with both Hybrid and in Person options and is well suited to support Government Projects, Community projects, and Private run groups. Each Pillar has workbooks and templates provided as part of the Program and regular group sessions enhancing development stages.
An online program (Self Paced) will be available in 2024, with group sessions to support development over 6 months.
About Solutions2You
Solutions2you was involved in Closed Round Table discussions with the Chamber of Commerce Foundation in the USA in 2022 to discuss Economic Security for Women in the APEC Region. Several improvements were identified, as well as preventative measures, and rectification approaches. Following that, we undertook research and prepared a white paper looking at various business sectors in the APEC region and looking at numerous measures that could be undertaken across different regions and industries to better equip WOB across different cultures and industries.
We hold decades of experience, including financial hardship and counselling and as such the program is about having the right people facilitate key areas with “lived experiences” to support, guide, and navigate forward any business, ensuring that they gain Economic Security.
The Program takes the Business Advisory Services, Strategic Advice and key elements of the Financial Literacy Program to create a holistic approach to business. It is critical that we upskill local businesses and entrepreneurs to meet the needs of a more innovative economy and build their capacity as diverse communities that can collaborate to not only increase economic participation but also ensure that they become sustainable and self-reliant.
